On 3rd and 4th of November, the third day of the Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy training course was held in gymnasiums “Hajdar Dushi” in Gjakove and “Xhevdet Doda” in Prishtine. The main purpose of this course is to help students gain knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and finance through their teachers.

In this session, some groups of teachers presented the work they’ve done when creating their virtual enterprises and the remaining part of the day consisted of a lecture about finances, more specifically about a business’s costs, profit and financial sustainability. Then, one part of the session was dedicated to group work, in which teachers were asked to calculate and plan a budget for their virtual enterprises. Overall, they have been very pleased and satisfied to being part of this experience. “I have gained an extraordinary experience in this training. I did not have enough entrepreneurship knowledge as my profession is architecture. After this training, now I think different” – said Lumnije Sylhasi, teacher at “Nexhmedin Nixha” technical school. Teachers of different learning areas have collaborated together to create virtual enterprises because the goal is to encourage teachers in including entrepreneurship as a concept in many subjects.
